The Muse behind the design

The ‘Poet’ pays homage to the romantic yet heart-breaking story of Dara Maar, one of the many muses and lovers of Picasso. Widely recognized as his most famous muse, Dora and Picasso indulged in a turbulent relationship coloured by art, passion, tumult & tension. Picasso eventually left Dora for artist Françoise Gilot, it is sadly said that Dora later died from ‘a broken heart and boredom’.

With its unique emoji-inspired twist, Lauren Dickinson Clarke’s Moody Muse Collection is a captivating tribute to the enigmatic Muses who’ve motivated and moved us throughout art and pop culture.
