The Performer scented candle has a delectably sweet scent, reminiscent of the sixties era with fruity top notes of cherry and a hint of pink sugar. Floral heart notes of parma violet sing above a radiant base of vanilla, patchouli, heliotrope, amber and sandalwood.

Full of eccentricities and hiding dark secrets, The Performer is inspired by the enchanting & vibrant Edie Sedgewick, infamous socialite and muse to Andy Warhol. Edie was a bright social butterfly whose candle of fame burned brightly at both ends.

Lauren Dickinson Clarke is based in Notting Hill, London. There, she and her team design beautiful objects which elevate any room into whimsical and artistic experiences. A real muse lies behind every illustration that adorns Lauren Dickinson Clarke candles. These elusive and inspirational women inspired and motivated Lauren’s creative process. Every Lauren’s drawing is the relentless labour of love. Each of them has been drafted and tweaked a countless number of times before being finalised. As a result, Lauren managed to create a beautiful and unique candle with a whimsical twist.

Like all of LDC fine bone china pieces, the candle jars and hats are handmade in England in Stoke On Trent by some of the most talented artisans in England, many of whom have been shaping china for over 50 years. The Stoke On Trent area has over 300 years of history in the pottery industry and is still famous for its quality ware which is sold all over the world.
