The Jacksons is a boutique in Notting Hill in London and was founded in 1998 by former fashion PR Joey and costume designer Louise Jackson. Since then it has become the number one destination for those well-heeled and well-informed individuals who are passionate about fashion. Louise designs beautiful, fun and durable THE JACKSONS bags in her Notting Hill studio. Then they are hand-made by local artisans in Western Bangladesh.

The social element of this project was also an important consideration at the outset. Louise wanted to empower the local women of Bangladesh so that the income they earned will lead to improved access to basic healthcare and education, which we all take for granted in the West.
